IMAGES AND SIZING OF FURNITURE AND COLOUR OPTIONS

The images of the furniture on our site are for illustrative purposes only. Although we have made every effort to display the colours accurately, we cannot guarantee that your computer will display the colours accurately or reflect the colour of these or the colour options. The furniture that is delivered to you may vary slightly from these images.


YOUR ORDER

You can place your order by emailing us at Sales@ProfileDesigns.co.uk but if you would prefer to speak to one of our team to discuss any aspects of your order, please call us on +44 7719 965 952. Please note that in the case of purchasing a table with a glass top this will not be glued to the base unless requested by you when placing your order. This is to ensure safe delivery of your furniture.

All prices are GBP sterling and exclude any taxes and delivery. Prices are subject to change without notice due to cost increases, but changes will not affect orders which we have already accepted.


PAYMENT OPTIONS

After placing your order, you will receive an e-mail from us acknowledging that we have received your order. All orders are subject to acceptance by us, and we will confirm such acceptance to you by sending you an e-mail confirming your order with us. We reserve the right at all times and at our sole discretion to refuse to accept any orders.

To commence with your order, we require a payment of a proportion of the price of the furniture (including delivery cost if necessary) which is typically 50%. We will invoice you and payment will be due immediately.

The remaining balance and delivery charges (if applicable) shall be payable by you when we notify you that your furniture is ready to collect or deliver in approximately 14 days time.
We will invoice you at this time and payment is due immediately. Any delay in paying the remaining balance shall cause a corresponding delay in any collection or delivery date.


LEAD TIMES

All our furniture is made to order and manufactured to the highest quality. Lead times on individual orders may take up to (but is not limited to) 3 to 4 weeks. In the case of multiple orders, the lead time may vary.

A confirmation email will be sent to you when we have booked your order into the workshop and we will give you an estimated delivery date. We will be in touch again in the weeks prior to delivery.

 


BESPOKE ORDERS

Acceptance of a bespoke design must be confirmed in writing by you prior to the production of furniture, this is to avoid any misunderstandings between the parties. We will provide an estimate of the time taken to complete a job depending on the complexity of the design and the materials to be used.


DELIVERY

The price of our furniture excludes any delivery costs. For delivery estimates, please contact us prior to placing an order. Where applicable, this will be added to the price of your furniture and set out as part of the total amount due during the order process.

We operate with delivery to all postcodes in England, Scotland and Wales; shipping costs are calculated for each individual item. Any delivery date quoted is a genuine estimate and shall not be legally binding to Profile Designs Furniture.

It is your responsibility to ensure that the furniture you order can be delivered into your property and that there is safe and reasonable access from the public highway to the place of delivery.

If you have any doubts that the furniture will not fit up stairways, through doors or any awkward or restrictive spaces it is vital that you seek advice.

You must inspect your furniture upon delivery if delivery only or after installation if assembly has been supplied. Any defect, damage or shortage should be noted on the Profile Designs Furniture copy of the delivery note.

The furniture will be your responsibility from the time that you (or a third party other than the carrier and indicated by you) take physical possession of the furniture.

Profile Designs Furniture cannot accept responsibility for any damage or shortage reported after the delivery or installation team has departed.

If for any reason the delivery is not successful, you will be liable for the total cost of the delivery and/or redelivery.

DELIVERY CANCELLATION

We require 48 hours notice of any changes or cancellation of a delivery date. If a delivery date is changed or cancelled there may be a charge to cover our costs.

 


CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE OF SOLID SURFACE MATERIAL

Caring for your furniture is relatively simple; use a damp microfibre cloth and wipe the surface. Towel dry the surface to prevent water spots. Depending on the surface finish of your furniture, different cleaning instructions are advised for more difficult stains.

RETURNS

We take pride in all our furniture being made to exceptional standards but in the unlikely event that something does go wrong, our returns policy states that where a damaged or faulty piece of furniture is delivered, we will do our utmost to rectify the error as quickly as possible.

In all events the limits of liability for any fault or defect shall not exceed the purchase price of the item.

Should you wish to return the goods, it is your responsibility to take good care of the furniture. You are the owner of the furniture once it has been delivered to you and you are liable for any loss or damage. Failure to take reasonable care may result in a claim against you. To minimise the risk of any such claim we ask that you return the goods in appropriate packaging in order to prevent damage in transit.


CANCELLATION

Consumer contract regulations only apply to your order if the furniture has not been custom made to your specification. If the consumer contract regulations do apply, you can cancel your furniture by notifying us, in writing, before delivery or within 14 working days beginning with the day after the date of delivery.

We will refund you the cost of the item plus the cost of the delivery, but you will need to pay for the cost of collection by us or the cost of returning the item to us.

Our luxury furniture is made to order so, after the 14 days ‘cooling off period’, no cancellation is permitted.

If you cancel an order, you will be responsible for all the costs incurred by Profile Designs Furniture up to the point of cancellation.


LIABILITY

Profile Designs Furniture Ltd will not be liable for any defect arising from fair wear and tear, wilful damage, negligence, abnormal conditions, misuse or failure to follow our instructions (whether oral or in writing).

We will not be liable for any consequential or special loss arising out of any breach of condition, warranty or contract on our part in respect of the furniture.

Profile Designs Furniture liability for any such breach in respect of the goods will be limited to their net invoice value or, at our discretion, to replacement of the goods.

We will not be liable for any defects, injury, loss or damage resulting from the purchaser’s negligence, lack of proper maintenance, improper use, or accidents.

We will not be liable for any inaccurate statements, errors or omissions contained in any brochure produced by any manufacturer over which we have no control.

Profile Designs Furniture reserves the right to revise these terms and conditions without prior notice.
